It gets more difficult getting up early and going. However I do enjoy that the hills are small and less steep. Today the weather was nice and warm. Took the back roads out of town and beeing Sunday it was quite calm.  Came to Celle where there was a nice castle. Out of town and the woods started. Drove more than 70km through woods and farmland. It was very nice and the road not busy at all.  However never only good stuff – the roots from the trees eventually break the bikepaths so you get the occasionally bumps – on some parts every 5-10m which is not good for my already very sensitive body part.
I had a bit problem finding as place to eat – one restaurant was too early and the next one was 2 hours later. According to Google I came in the door about 5 minutes before they were supposed to close. A quick decision and I could get my meal. I was not the last customer to arrive but the last to get served. The last 20km into Luneburg were up and down. 7 minutes after arriving it started raining!
It was a nice hotel with a very good restaurant. The whole region is selling asparges on every corner, so I took a aspargessoup before the local lamb came on the table.
For a Sunday evening there was a lot going on in town. There was some Stadtfest. A beautiful inner town where no two houses are alike. Well worth another visit.
